CONTEMPORARY PHILOLOGICAL STUDIES

           Dear colleagues,

           The conference ‘Contemporary Philological Studies’ will be organised and hosted by the Faculty of Philology (University of Belgrade) on 2nd and 3rd March 2024. It will be held live at the Faculty. The programme will feature topics from every philological discipline – linguistics, literature studies, and library studies – as well as cultural studies and interdisciplinary studies connected to philology. When evaluating submitted abstracts, the Organising Committee will take into account academic criteria and how well grounded they are in the topics and methodologies of contemporary philology. Papers that pass the review process will be included in the official Conference Proceedings. Co-authored papers may be submitted. The official languages of the conference are Serbian and English. The time allotted to each speaker is 15 minutes followed by 5 minutes for discussion.

            If you would like to participate in the conference, please send an email to sfikonferencija@gmail.com containing the following:

3. Affiliation of the author
4. Email address
5. An abstract of no more than 300 words in .docx or .doc format. Keywords should be submitted with the abstract.

           Applications are open until 20th December 2023 and notification of acceptance will be sent by 15th January 2024.

           КThe conference fee is 6000 dinars/50 EUR, payable to the following bank account: 840-1615666-26, reference number Konferencija SFI. If paying from abroad, the fee is 50 euros and instructions for foreign currency payments can be downloaded HERE. Payment should be made by 15th February 2024. We kindly ask you to note that the payer is obligated to cover the money transfer fee, and the Faculty should receive the exact amount of 50 euros.
